I thought the same thing.  Imagine if there was a big reveal at E3 that Too Human would have 4 player co-op, actually really amazing gameplay, contain all three campaigns in one package for $60 instead of a trilogy, and amazing graphics/design/everything.  I mean, apparently there was no update to the opening cinematic in 2 years, so this really could be an ancient build.  Dyack could spin this into both hating on previews for misjudging a game AND that all the bullshit pre-game release doesn't matter since the game would speak for itself at release.  He could really make the entire game industry and enthusiasts his bitch.

All depends.  If the mods are against a certain viewpoint, they will be 10x harsher than if they were for.  If you have a certain viewpoint that is against that of a mod, you are pretty much on thin ice.  If you make too quick of a step, you get slapped with a tag, banned, or both.

On the Too Human thread, even though the game looks to be shit, a lot of people said a lot of stupid things and got away with it.  Of course, I did not get away with it, as I made a joke about Dyack, insinuating that he spends more time daily at Golden Corral than people will have playing Too Human.

In those threads, they were undermoderated.  Since the mods were called out personally by Dyack, even more bullshit was allowed in that would not be if it was a Kojima or a Miyamoto game.

I agree, they employ selective moderating and have hardcore double standards. The mods at Gaf have good humour, but that's about as far as it gets, they generally suck at their job.

Despite enjoying posting on gaf and all that, I agree.  Dyack is ruining the industry from the inside while gaf has the outside covered.  Even outside of all this pseudo-PR bullshit he is pulling, in the old EGM Live when he talked about what he wanted to do with Too Human on a purely narrative level was the opposite of how things should be done.  GAF has a lot of things to list, but in recent memory the whole MM9 fiasco going on is overwhelming.

Just because you have some sort of "celebrity" sitting in with you, doesn't mean you have to make them feel welcomed by agreeing with everything they say. When you get a chance, listen to it.  Shane was dangling on Dyack's every last pubic hair.  Dyack sounded like a rambling madman who could not put forth a coherent sentence without Garnett helping him along. 

Anyone who would put the amount of thought and energy into analyzing Neogaf as Dyack obviously has must be either certifiably insane or a massive attention whore.
