I started up the Naruto download last night and since it was late,I forgot to since it to the background. So I wake up this morning and it tells me the demo is unavailable,I've turned off the PS3 a couple of times to see if it would be any different but nothing.

So does anyone wanna help me out with this? Because I think I just wasted $3.

Yeah, I played the demo a bunch last night. Mix of Power Stone, ZoE2, and the Naruto PS2 games. So much fun and it just looks stunning.

the fighting system is much better from the videos and the graphics are way better as well.

The 360 game was more of an adventure/platformer game than a fighting game, but if we were to just compare the fighting, Ultimate Ninja Storm is much better than the 360 game. Ultimate Ninja Storm does have an adventure mode also, but I doubt it will be as fleshed out as the 360 game was. Graphically there is also no contest between them. Ultimate Ninja Storm is the best cel shaded game there is.

the village graphics in the 360 game looked amazing but the gameplay was like...assassin's creed in one city lol.

I wish Naruto on 360 played like AC. I mean, when you went to climb a building, you had to do a seal and walk up a predetermined path. If they make the next game like Crackdown or AC or Ultimate Destruction, then that would be awesome.

I has free roaming, but it isn't like the 360 game. It is a fighter first before it is an adventure game, but it still has that adventure game mode in it. Just judging from the demo, it is MUCH better than the 360 game, at least the fighting that is.

I downloaded the demo from the UK store and gave it a spin. I've never seen the show, so I don't know who the characters are, but the graphics were awesome and the gameplay, while simplistic, was fun enough.

while it is fun i was really disappointed to find out yesterday that there is no online play. and for a fighting game coming out these days the lack of online play is criminal.

online play is still broken in fighting games. no loss. only casual players or people with no friends take part in online play in a fighting game anyway.

or maybe i just don't waste time playing a fighter online. because i have people locally to play them with. no reason to sacrifice the game's gameplay just so i can play with some guy online.

i was actually impressed with the core mechanics. the perspective is quite cool and fresh. with the chakra combinations, the fighting system isn't too simple (it's still simpler than most fighting gamest hough). battles can be really entertaining though.

looks to be a good anime game.

Is there any way to turn the tides when I'm being pelted in some massive hit combo? Like, a quick counter-move? This is pretty enough that I almost feel like learning how to play it.

You can also press L2/R2 at the right moment to preform a replication jutsu.

It isn't shitty. It is actually really damn good for an Anime fighting game. And there is an adventure mode, just it isn't the main mode like it is in the 360 Naruto games.

I would also rather not have an Anime based action adventure game. I would rather there be an action adventure game styled to be like an anime, kind of like the .hack games (I know there is an Anime of it, but the games are seperate). It helps avoid the problems of stepping over the toes of what they can actually put in the game to destroy the lore. It can't follow the main storyline either.

Personally I would really like a Hunter X Hunter action adventure game that took place years before anything happens in the actual manga.
