Seriously though, can I play it on XP and is it all just bot matches and online play or is there some sort of single player campaign??

Worth it if the community still exists, no campaign, just 6 tutorial missions.

Its 8 bucks on X360 at TRU, I payed 10 and enjoyed it for what it is, Counterstrike with some interesting weapons.  I should play it more often actually.

Do a lot of people still play it on XBL? I enjoyed it a lot but just stopped playing for whatever reason and I should get back on.

I think people still play on it. Check GameFAQs, achieve360points, xbox360achievements - you should be able to see if its active

Quake Wars for the PC can be had for just a bit more money, and it's a way better team/class based shooter on the PC than Shadowrun is, IMO.

If you are going to get anything from that sale, get that $5 copy of Universe at War: Earth Assault. You get a free month of Xbox Live with it too.

It isn't bad.  It is also the only FPS I that I would say to go for the 360 version instead of PC because they somehow fucked up KB/M controls.  It is basically like paying for a decent quality Halo mod.
