You will not regret the second Orochi game either. It's gold! (Although it does feel like more of the same. Big surprise, I know)
since i've lived in japan i've played all the musou games in japanese. one of the most fun parts is translating the story. dw6 sucked because it departed from a lot of what happened in the book, moreso than the other games. on the other hand since orochi musou is nothing but fan service translating and understanding the story and which armies formed a rebellion versus which were subdued by orochi was interesting. i LOVED the fact that nobunaga never gave up because he saw orochi as nothing more than another demon like himself (though i don't know how many of evilbore know or care about his real history).
Also it's time for a new Musou. They've done ancient China. They've done feudal Japan. They've done big-ass robots. It's time for something else. How about making Bladestorm into a Musou game? Europe needs representation!
europe would be cool, especially if it involved russia and sweden circa the 1300s, but after i did an anthropology report i thought that ancient egypt musou would be fucking phenomenal. unfortunately the time period is spread so far that it would be hard to get ramses II in with tuthmosis III along with the hittites and hysksos and still have a believable game. unlike the three kingdoms period which took place over the course of 80 years (or so) egypt was done over a thousand and some change.
korea also had a three kingdoms period that was pretty crazy in the early 500s which would make a good game.
