It saves your progress with cookies or something. You can close it and reopen it later.

I just spent the 15 minutes wacking a unique monster named "Geldra" cursing that I better get something sweet for it. I got like 50,000G and 2 Jewels. I don't know what Jewels do, but I hope it's sweet.

Jewels raise your power in a certain attribute. And yeah, that 15 Minutes wasted. If your attacks aren't taking off health quickly off a particular monster, its time to grind to make the sword bigger.

awesome game. but wtf@lizard assassin -- i've gotten to a point where i can kill any of the previous bosses for kicks, but i can barely touch this bastard. is there a particular enchantment or strategy i should be using, or do i just need to brute force grind it?

i think the trick is that the mouse cursor controls the placement of your feet -- don't actually try to click on enemies, or you'll just run into them

I found out that when you click the mouse, the Assassin phases around. So if your clicking constantly, he kicks going all over the place. By clicking slower, you can manipulate how frantic the battle is. Its still a pretty f'ed up fight when you do it this way, I was relieved when I finally beat him.

Oh, and I got the last sword up to level 1300

. I played this game ALL NIGHT, I was in a grinding trance. Raising Luck + Secret Area in Map 14 = SO MUCH MONIES

How do you kill the lizard assassin? I still have my sword all water enchanted because of the fire guy, but now I'm doing no damage to this bastard.

And are buying other swords worth it? or should I keep leveling up my Katana?

my strategy for killing the lizard assassin was something like blue tsunami's -- i'd only swing at him when he was in the middle of the screen, which often seemed to make him teleport right into my sword. the gauntlet item helps. i'm on the second to last screen of the map now, but i really haven't done much grinding, and i think i'm way underpowered

edit: o shit, just got 150 mil from one of those leviathans borys mentioned. what should i spend it on? is the energy sword the best one to upgrade?

I couldn't really see a difference between a regular sword and the energy sword but I built up the energy sword anyway. Also, make sure to build up luck, drohne, Luck is the modifier that gives you better drops (money and jewels) and rarer monster encounters (which equals more money).

This game has so many rare monsters that drop lots of money. I recently fought a armor monster called "Apocalypse". So awesome.

Also, I beat the Hellhound Boss. You have to 1) Get the 100,000,000 Gold Chaser Spell 2) Build up your Intelligence to atleast 250 so its effective and 3) Make your sword its minimum size so the Hellounds main attack isn't as large (his main attack is based off when you click. Its best to stick to the upper and lower corners of the Boss). You get a special item that's used on the first map. The battle is still kind of tough with those prerequisites. You still have to dodge the little red dot missiles, 3 alone will kill me

You're actually healing him with that water sword. Go back and grind a fire sword.

Not yet. I did all the trials and its not letting me leave the map. In the map where you face the sorceress. The little tavern area (where there's people hanging around). Keep re-entering that map until you see a store screen selling a single spell. The spell costs 100,000,000 Gold though

that was all dropped by the last boss -- and you can kill him as many times as you want. this lets you boost your stats to ridiculous levels, but it seems like most of the enemies scale with you

Ok Borys, I did these three things different and I got the Special Trophy. 1) I took off the Energy Sword and used some other sword (in this case a Claymore that I had already leveled pretty high) and 2) In the Shine of Intelligence, I hit all the slimes like 3 times then stepped on them 3) I visited the Library before I visited the Inn. I did all this instead of just visiting the Shrines (and doing the objectives) and now have the special trophy.

Gahhhhh. In the prequel, after you beat the Demon Lord, don't click the 4 red arrows in the upper right because it shrinks your sword back down to the size it was when you first started playing. I completely ruined my character by doing that.
