Does anyone else remember this ps2 game? It was pretty cool in my opinion. I wish Eidos/IO would work on a sequel to this and get it out already.

They did. It was called Kane and Lynch: Dead Men. Now let us never speak of it again.

Freedom Fighters was great.  I remember being excited for Kane and Lynch since it seemed like it could be similar, but it ended up being shit.

I didn't even like Gerstmann, but when I did play Kane and Lynch, it was pretty bad.

I never played it on the pc. But I know that for its time the ps2 version was pretty good. The squad controls were excellent and the AI for your squad knew to take cover and such in the area you told them to go.

Kane and Lynch is not a Freedom fighters sequel. The true freedom fighters sequel would involve the cast from the first and that timelime, obviously.


They should stop working on stupid crap like K&L and do the true sequel we fans deserve.

I liked K&L, although it is the very definition of a rental. The action set pieces were fuck awesome, the jumpy chronology, ugly characters and spotty mechanics notsomuch. But when it was on, it's like nothing else I've ever played
