Eh, what made you think that? The PS3 is outselling the 360 pretty much everywhere at this point, but there's a year headstart and a shitty shit year of their own to make up for.

microsoft is finally starting to earn back the 8 billion or so in losses they've stacked up since joining the console war.

ps3 is catching up to 360 in sales, slowly.

nintendo is buying lake erie because their old swimming pool of money just wasn't big enough.

Guys I don't think I will be buying any console this gen. I was planning to get a PS3 for MGS4 and GTA4 but I'm really not intending to play anything else other than those two games and it seems like a waste of money to get a brand new console just for that. I'm gonna see if I can rent a PS3 somewhere

I'm on my second playthrough of MGS4--so awesome. I don't know if it is worth purchasing a console for, tho.

As a historically console first gamer, I find myself wanting a new rig more and more these days. Over the next few years the PC will have Dawn of War 2, Starcraft 2, and Spore. Sign me up please.

Now in terms of consoles, I would have to rate it 360>Wii>PS3. The 360 has plenty of games that I like, the first party games on Wii are good, and there has yet to be anything on the PS3 that justifies the price for me. That will undoubtedly change when the PS3 gets a price drop and more games hit this fall, but right now there are only a few titles that look compelling to me (Warhawk, Ratchet, Uncharted).
