So yeah, what are your favorite albums of 2008 so far

I've spent so much time catching up with awesome stuff from 2007 that I've neglected any new stuff. I love Portishead's new album and I like the new Black Keys album. Anything else out that's pretty awesome? Any noteworthy hip hop albums of 2008? Most of the stuff I want hasn't come out yet which sucks (Madvillain 2...believe)

The new Beck album is pretty good.  So is the new PJ Harvey.

The last two are Santogold - S/T, and Ratatat's LP3.

Attack & Release is pretty fantastic.  I'm digging it a hell of a lot more than Magic Potion.

Oh yeah, I forgot.  The new Bonnie Prince Billy cd is pretty darn good, even if it's not as bleak and depressing as what I'm used to from him.

Yes...and

Motley Crue - Saints of Los Angeles. I'm amazed at this album. I didn't expect much but, to me anyways, they've captured some of that magic from the Dr. Feelgood era.
