I'm looking forward to impressions of CTDS. All of the battle screens we've seen so far have no user interface. I'm about 99% sure they're putting the battle interface on the bottom screen... and to me that sounds like a disaster. Hopefully whatever they're doing works out ok.

I've played and beaten CT many times through an emulator.  If my three options are a piss poor port for PSX, $100 copy cart only from some greasy haired fuck, or through ZSNES, I will take the latter.

It is also clear that FFXIII is a fucking disaster.  I think the FF vs. XIII thing sealed it for me.  It seems like Square wants to distance themselves from consoles entirely and FFXIII is the ugly beast that is making sure they have no other choice but to go to handhelds.

i was all doom and gloom until they showed the extra 3 second clip showing a NEW CHARACTER some this last year.

As the game was confirmed all real time running on ingame white engine back at the first reveal, i now totally believe it's coming out in the next few months.

they are just keeping it quiet because Sony have a truck load of games to sell before December.

(i wonder if we'll see FF7:R too :O )

Too many games to sell, really.  What with Sony pushing back Killzone 2 because of TOO MANY GOOD GAMES in 2008, I wouldn't be surprised if FFXIII got the same treatment, and they delayed it until 2009.  Or may 2010 or 11 since there are just so many hot games out there to sell.
