Yeah, that was a problem the Naruto 360 game had and pretty much every Level 5 game has.

They just need to get that nasty outline out. Never understood why devs use it, it looks bad people. But the rest, cmon guys, those environments are the most beautiful thing this gen yet.

There is nothing wrong with the environments or the characters, it's just that the two styles really don't mesh. It'd be like throwing TWW Link into the TTP world, you know?

I think that if the black outlines of the characters were thrown away it would be better.

All this talk about outlines makes me want a game with brightly colored outlines or something like that. I don't know if anyone else did it, but I remember when we would just color in an entire page with different colored crayons, then completely cover that entire thing with black. When you used a coin or something else to peel away the black crayon bits, it ended up being really cool bright rainbow outlines. Ok, writing that out actually makes it seem pretty homo.

I think it looks great. I don't mind the style - it's the same as a cartoon where they paint the backgrounds and then animated characters move in front of them.

I'd be happy with thinner lines though.

I did a couple of those when I was a kid - they were awesome fun.

Some beautiful enviroments there. I agree with the black lines they should be removed.
