Sexy, but what's up with the "iron sights?"

Looks like the oddball perspective as in the Resistance 2 SP footage.

It's strange this game still has no release date.  Last we heard it was Doom 3 engine.  I'm wondering if they've shifted to Rage.  But I'm digging the large levels/no loads idea.  I just hope they get the AI right.  MoH Airborne and Bad Company have similar designs but terrible AI.  I'm still pumped.  I loved Wolf on XBOX (yeah yeah PC blah blah blah) and played a ton of the MP.

i like the "open" city
i don't like that it's Return cranked to distinguished mentally-challenged fellow.  BJ has powers and is fighting what looks like neon gas filled fleas on the first page.

the models don't look much improved over Return.

i heart me some Wolfenstein, even Return, but i dunno.

As long as it still has Nazi killin', I'm still on board.

This is fucking RETURN TO CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN 2 people.  The king of games.  There should be jizz flying all over this thread regardless of what it looks like.

I don't give a damn what they do with the single player campagin though.  Give me info on the multiplayer goodness.

The mission structure and random elements seem pretty keen. Put me in the "sort of want" category, it's not a problem with the setting, but whether or not it'll feel different enough to really drag me in. I'm getting more and more picky with FPS games as I get older.  :-\

I dunno, it's got Nazis and the main character is called BJ (what marketing genius came up with that in this day and age) and it's an unknown franchise.*

I just hope to god those occult powers that BJ has will stay in the single player game.  I don't want that shit anywhere near the mulitplayer part of it.  Honestly, all I'm looking for is a few more classes, a couple new weapons, and some new maps along with updated versions of the old ones.  I mean I at least need Beach, Base, and Assault. Give me that.

honestly, it looks like shit.

It'll probably look incredible when all is said and done. Quake 4, for all of the shit it gets, has quite a few incredible looking levels. And the lighting and shadowing is going to be top notch, so that puts it a cut above most right there.

Yeah even though it was more or less just a straight up CTF map, Destruction was pretty awesome.  Hell they' were all awesome.......well, except for Castle and Keep.  Didn't care for either of those.

I'm just disappointed that it doesn't seem to look as good as Rage.

anyway i shouldn't have said that without seeing videos at least, my bad.

first video

Again with the single player campaign. *sigh*

Did anyone play RTCW for the single player game?  The only reason it was there was so you could waste time while you're waiting for the servers to go back up.

i still play through the single player game of RTCW about once a year

it's like a comfort game

i love all that distinguished mentally-challenged occult stuff, sort of wish MoH would head in that direction (they kind of skirted around it in the last level of MoH: Airborne, with the gas mask chain gun dudes it took a full clip to kill)

but yeah, wolfenstein mp rocked, and enemy territory was incredible
