Wow. I've learned my lesson. Never say you don't like something in people's new favorite game or they'll go batshit. fucking. insane.

I say I don't like fully featured Gambits and you START TYPING LIKE THIS TO GET YOUR POINT ACROSS BECAUSE YOU CAN'T FATHOM SOMEONE HATING YOUR FAVORITE NEW GIMMICK.

I was a fanboy till 8 kinda sucked, then 9 was good, but not something I'd go through twice, and then they ruined everything with 10.

12 sux, 5 rox, 3 is cool. I will say this for 12 tho, nothing about the 'main' character is emo, in fact I cant think of one that's emo in the whole game. Everyones kinda hardcore jerks.

I've got about an hour and a half into FF3 DS, and the game points me to the mines, but the mines have these level gajillion skeletons that hit me for close to the full damage of each party member.

The altar caves are empty save the cool items you can pick up on a revisit. I lack a map so maybe im missing something there.

I cant access the castle without a ring from the mines I dont think, and the cave across the lake I cannot even seem to reach. Is there something I am missing?

FFX was good, for a movie. It had its flaws, but I think lulu's victory pose made up for those.

3 rocks (so far), 4 is pretty fun, 5 was a bit boring but still fun, 6 is OMG AWESOME, 7 is okay, 8 is really cool, 9 is fun, 10 was fun, 11 was meh, 12 was OMG SUX.

that game is actually the worst example of the Job system imo, the game is broken. too many useless jobs and some jobs that are too powerful there is no balance there.

I think FF3 achieved perfect balance with the job system so far none of the classes are too powerful but neither are they useless each has their own pros/cons and I think it's awesome. FF5 is awesome of course because you can use abilities from other classes I never understood your hate for FF5 it's actually the best FF gameplay wise imo Im enjoying FF3 a lot now so FF5 might have companion right there for me.

maybe 'perfectly balance' is stretching it but my point is they did a great job with it.

Great job system to me = customization. Who cares if it's broken? MvC2 is a broken fighter and it's fun as fuck.

In FFIII and FFV you feel too limited, but that's my experience. I mean, FFV had just as bad balance depending on what you do.

yes but when you have system in which you want to use a job but cant because it sucks in the game, the game is broken and it's not a very good designed game.

job system is customization AND choices. in FFT using certain jobs is worthless because in the end they are just there for show, that to me is bad game design. Im not saying it's not fun.

have you even played FF5? I mean limited in FF3 sure (this actually helps because it makes the game very balanced) but in FF5? no way man.
