i wanted xaggle, and i have never played a ff game for more than ten minutes, so i am a little disappointed

but the new dash looks cool, and if everyone didn't live on opposite coasts or moonman countries i'd be happy to watch and poke fun at movies with you

also, lots of games i want this year

unfortunately, two of my rl friends will own ps3 systems by the end of the week, so i will have to buy a lot of multiplat titles on ps3

but left 4 dead, party system, let's rock it eb

Yeah, after today's Final Fantasy debacle I'm not even going to start the PS3 defense force engines up, except to say that I'll probably be playing it STILL on PS3, because I know it will work, unlike the 360, which has red-ringed three times.

The Final Fantasy debacle doesn't concern me at all. It should probably concern Sony, but my interest is squarely in what Sony's developers are cooking up. I once said that I'd ditch the system if Sucker Punch or Insomniac were ditched, and that's perfectly true. It's a good system, but it's worth nothing without the games from specifically those two developers. Still, I'll have to look into actually buying another 360 this Fall, I just hope the version out then is a very reliable one. I always knew that I'd play Gears 2 and Fable 2, but now the UI seems to become a lot less lame too.

What's so special about Insomniac's games?

Ratchet was pretty fun, at least compared to the rest of the PS3 demos I downloaded... price drop and I'll be picking it up. Resistance was kinda boring though, and I hate the shield+health system that this game and Halo 1 had. I have no idea who the hell Sucker Punch are, one of these obscure Sony first party teams I take it?
