Looks awesome. There is one enemy that looks almost like he should be hanging out with the Locust Horde though (shoulder branding). And at 0:18, is that an Angel, or a new creature? Looks pretty evil.

R2 looks like it'll be a more emotive game than R1.  The influence of Bioshock on R2 is clear (it's a good thing).

Still a bit flat looking (lighting).  Insomniac really seems to struggle on that front for some reason.

I do like the new atmosphere, though.  Seems like a big improvement over the original.  Hopefully they improve the gun animations (reloading and whatnot) as they were very weak in the original.  Such attention to detail can go a LONG way to improving the visuals.

Unlike the new GoW 2 trailer, there is nothing sublime about that voice. The sense of desperation is thrust right in your face by that transmission. The locations look pretty cool with their destroyed landmark theme.

I really liked Resistance MP, so I'm pretty excited about this. Not sure what to think about the counter thing though, makes it too "game-y."

Do we know if there are going to be vehicles in MP?

No vehicles in R2 at all.

  Well, that's odd. Not that I thought Resistance needed them, and I've put days into COD4 and never missed having vehicles, but I had certainly expected Resistance 2 to have some. I guess they weren't just making excuses when they said they didn't feel that vehicles belonged in Resistance MP.
