AI looks really stupid though, and the carried over animation style from RE4 is kind of crummy. Shooting a dude in the side to have him stagger backwards is $:-\$

Still looks kick ass anyway, can't wait

Yeah, it's, like, incredible and stuff. Although the more I see of it, the more I feel like it needed attention elsewhere, like combat movement.

The environmental similarity to the first act in MGS4 is amusing. RE5 takes a dump on Kojima's head, and it doesn't even need the exclusive power of the Cell. I doubt it's scaling from 1024x768 either

Controls need to be updated, right now. Visually it's on par for this gen, control wise.... this game is still stuck in the PS2 days.

It took me a little bit but I just noticed that the trailers on XBL and PSN are different. The PSN starts with the male hero during the day out on a desert road dealing with a zombie tanker truck while the one on XBL has the woman at night with the flipped over jeep. Kinda prefer the XBL one to be honest.

Which vehicle? The one with the guy and the tanker? Nah, that's not in the XBL trailer. The one on XBL does have a different motorcycle chase though.

lol...I downloaded the PSN trailer just for the hell of it and I thought I was going crazy. I knew there was something different about it but I couldn't place my finger on it until I played them both back to back.

Capcom really need to work on their vehicles (speaking of the start of the XBL trailer).

Their character designs are awesome, but then they have them riding around in rectangular cardboard boxes with octagonal wheels.

It occurs to me that what is shown in the first video is a carbon copy of the first big fight in RE4, only now you're not fighting alone.
It also occurs to me that the characters can be way too close to explosives without getting hurt, that the A.I. really sucks (this could have been designed specifically for the demo though), and that the heroes can walk through solid objects, such as enemy weapons. Dazzling visuals aside, there are some red flags going up here.

I'm a little nervous because I tank controls are frickin' fantastic for RE, but at the same time Capcom have never made a move for the worse with the main RE games so I will have faith.
