Sonic Unleashed trailer. So much for this being a PURE SONIC TITLE, eh?! I called it when it was first revealed. Shitty flash over substance and not Sonic 1 Sonic. Holding right and occasionally changing directions does not make it a Sonic game, and Sonic games have rarely ever been exclusively about speed. Then they throw in this bullshit werewolf crap.

That looks terrible. There hasn't been a good sonic game in like a decade at this point. Sega puts way too much emphasis on speed. The first games also had an acceptable amount of platforming and exploring, something that's been nearly completely absent for the past several games. The shit they are churning out now makes the Sonic Adventure games look inspired.

The eternal optimist in me tries to keep an open mind when it comes to new Sonic games, but I don't really see anything in that trailer that suggests Sega's about to break the vicious cycle.

I caught the demo of this game on Gamespot. Werehog segments are based on God of War. It is a pure rip off, except for babies.

The combos are similar, the way you open doors is the same, the platforming segments are the same. It is all jacked from God of War, except long arms instead of chains.
