That does look really cool. I've always enjoyed Raven's work (especially Heretic II, my favorite game from them) and it's good to see that they are back on the FPS train after a brief stint doing donkey work like the X-MEN : Legends games or Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

I can't see the video right now, but it looks similar to FEAR?  Do you mean in terms of AI enemies or setting?  I like fighting enemies in FEAR, but I'm not a big fan of horror games.  I would still say FEAR is more action than horror which works for me.  Hopefully Singularity is as well if it is a horror game.

Looks nice, but what's the premise?

It is I indeed.  Slo sent me this way, and I figured since Borys is here I must post here too.

I'm not a big fan of horror games so I'll have to wait and see how this turns out.  I do like Raven software FPS products.  I've been thinking about grabbing them again on Steam to play through once more.

Looks interesting. At least it doesn't look like a boring generic shooter.

I thought they had smartened up and canned this shit. Developing a whole game around the concept of a very gimmicky gameplay feature and wrapping it around a Return to Castle Wolfenstein coat of paint, just seems like the wrong way to make a game.

What do i know though.

The gimmick of the game doesn't necessarily bother me. It's using it in a slightly different manner than just time rewind or bullet time. The problem for me is Raven hasn't made an especially good fps game in a really long time so I don't have a lot of confidence in them.

That being said it looks interesting to me and they've certainly had a long enough time to make this one so it should at least be polished.

This isn't even sent to die. It's... unsent and will die.

Probably.

But the same could be said about Metro 2033 which didn't seem to bother people...

Looks pretty cool.

Wolfenstein was a fun game, but a bit on the simplistic side. Hopefully this won't suffer from the same archaic feel.

Metro PC version will live on for years in selling power due to it being the new Crysis for technical benchmarking.  If you're really willing to make the next graphical showcase you don't need to worry about short-term sales so much.

Yeah, I think Metro will also get many more sales once it goes 1/2 price on Steam.  It's mostly viewed as a 2nd tier title like Stalker so there aren't many willing to dish out full price for it.

It looks like timeshift with better graphics. The age reverting stuff is probably really scripted though.
