Yeah, that's a much better demo.

Also, I like hearing that the world is about as big as Oblivion's but much more dense.

Looks great, but the enviro was a bit boring. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Hell, at this point I'd play a Wii Music Fallout.

I hope they add some secret locations etc. to the map. Nothing worse than having all that area to explore and never finding anything cool.

They've said that it's way more dense than Oblivion, but we'll see.

I have a lot of respect for this game, but I fear that I won't have the time necessary to dive into something this deep. :(

I can understand them not being very interested in the previous games since they are both old and not on consoles. I'm not going to throw any stones at them for asking that, just as I would hope that console gamers wouldn't get too pissed when a mostly-PC journo comes back and asks a question regarding a nostaglic console gamer reference.

As the big-name PC space and console space crash more and more together, expect to see more of this.

It's so painful watching some distinguished mentally-challenged console gaming journalist asking "What is the Bloody Mess perk?".

Ignorant fool.
U mad?

Well, it's the job of the journalist to communicate information to the viewer/reader, so asking for clarifications is a good thing. This game isn't just for existing Fallout fans.

Even I know what Fire Flowers in Mario, Phoenix Downs in Final Fantasy or Ice Beam in Metroid do. I would expect a gaming journalist would know about a pretty popular thing (everybody took this perk in previous Fallout) in part THREE of some game he is interviewing a designer of.

Dude, it's not about what the gaming journalist knows, but about what the audience might not know. It's meant to be informative.

Impressive, but they still need to show me why I shouldn't be using VATS all the time.  I mean, what is the point of playing real time if you can instant kill any enemy with VATS as they are in all these demos? This game is already a far cry from what Fallout was, so I'm gonna play it like Oblivion with guns in real time without this pausing BS.  I also hope they have differences in the PC version for how this all works.  This is all very console lite stuff.

You can't use VATS all the time because each attack uses action points that take time to regenerate. I assume that this demo has been tweaked slightly so they don't have to worry about not being able to show it off.

I've been crossing my fingers that the approximate location where I live will be contained within the game world, though if it is, it'll have to be on the border.

I asked a guy I know who worked on editing the trailer, and he pulled the NDA card on me  :'(
