Zack and Wiki for $7.96 @ Toys R Us

It's clearanced at 20% off.  Just got back from my local one and they had plenty of copies.  The discount came off at the register, there's nothing in-store to indicate the price drop.  Saw it at a topic at fat wallet.

Awesome, thanks for posting this. I was reading an article on Gamespite.net (ToastyFrog's blog) about this game today, too... been meaning to pick it up but never got around to it.

Cool deal I hope you can grab it.  I've never played it but it's on my short-list of games I wanted to pick up at a discount.  If I can get a good deal on Boom Blox, Trauma Center (1 and 2,)  and maybe a couple of others my library will be set for the next year at least.

it's probably worth seven dollars and ninety-six cents, but it isn't worth my time. pass.

does anyone remember if re4 wii renders 480 vertical lines? i remember hearing that it just upscales from that undersized gamecube window, but i'm not certain

I picked up Z&W for cheap a couple of months back - great little game and aside from WiiFit (please excuse me for mentioning this in Gaming) it's the only thing that keeps my Wii in use.

I was surprised at how great it looks as well - if all Wii games looked this good I'd be a happy camper.

i LOVED zack & wiki in levels as The Crystal Key, The Painted Secret and Mirror, Mirror. Relatively short and very clever puzzles that are fun to complete. The only thing you can do wrong here is mess up your HirameQ ranking, but who cares about that. It gets less fun when the game goes into hardcore trial & error mode. There's this level in the fire world where, if you do ONE thing out of sequence, it's game over... without the game telling you so. If you do something wrong there, it can't be turned back and you have to restart the level yourself. Very annoying. Also frustrating: getting to the end of a level, only to realize you skipped a step (airship level: you didn't blow up the hangar hatch with the cannon? => fail at the very end) or you have no item equipped when a scripted sequence starts (end of jungle level: no umbrella equipped when free falling => death)

Some of the remote implementation is shoddy too, like the fire ball tennis in that one lava level.

Finally picked the game up again yesterday with 15 parts collected, should be near the end now.

RE4 looks great, but it wasn't full widescreen for me either.

I admire the person who completed this game without ever using those hint dolls or consulting a faq, daamn. Just beat the squid level, I'm just about ready for this game to end now
