WHERE is this game at?!

This is the stop gap to the proper game - this is the one that is being rushed out to tide us over to the REAL game.

Is it lying dead along with all the other Euro games that got gassed a few weeks back?

A few people had been saying today's date for weeks, but i assume it's still AWOL ? :/

Does anyone know, or is it time to start putting photos on milk cartons?

Wasn't the point of Wipeout HD to be a stopgap game before a new full fledged Wipeout title comes out for the PS3?

With the way things are going, that will come out before Wipeout HD.

I don't know how you fuck up a port of a PSP game, but there you go. If it winds up being $30 and hitting in the holiday rush I doubt I'll bother.

Can you download any of the PSP games on PSN? I might just buy them outright, fuck this shit. I bet they're $5 at EB, I'll get one tomorrow if it's not on PSN. Which is better?

the "specific technical problem" is that it was designed as a DL only title, but since it looks better than anything else coming out for a while, they really want to slap a '4' on it and press it to bluray.

This is just like what they said about Socom. Oh, and then we find out another Socom isn't in the works. Unless you want to consider MAG the next Socom.

Sony was just talking out their ass until they had a proper plan in place. I think they dropped that whole "stop gap" talk a while ago, and for good reason. It was stupid nonsense.

Last I heard, it was still in development, although there was nervous talk that Wipeout HD would be dropped completely. But that was a while ago, and I don't think the dude who said that has any inside information these days.

Well, that comment about some massive bug that nobody can solve sounds like bullshit to me. I would prefer if they just cancel Wipeout HD, use what they have and add it to a full Wipeout game. Just finish it properly and forget about this PSN version.

Yea. It's just a bunch of PSP tracks anyway, make it unlockable in a real game. I hate this half-game bullshit but I was gonna swallow it cuz this one looked cool.

Anyway I've got Pulse now, it's pretty cool. I like its structure and presentation but I feel like the ships are too slow and wallowy, I prefer the feel of F-Zero.
