Just my opinion... I think you guys are totally overreacting. There's been like less than a handful of console wars topics made and it's E3. Maybe it's because I'm from OA? There were times where the entire front page was littered with garbage topics and :hippo's, so you guys complaining about a few topics here and there just sounds like a bunch of whining. The problem is that the people running the forum want an open door policy as opposed to a "cream of the crop" policy. So as long as you're going to welcome just anyone with open arms, you're going to get the obnoxious people who couldn't cut it at GAF, because we're not a disgusting hive of scum and villainy like OA.

Ignoring doesn't work. Never has. People should be able to conform to some minimum standards of decorum, politeness and non-douchebaggery, especially the generally low standards we have at EB. (i.e. say whatever you want but be funny about it) But whatever, I've long advocated making this place more of an elitists haven than a place that welcomes just anyone. The people in charge aren't interested tho, so bitching really accomplishes nothing. Sadly.

Exactly... these two posts above sum it up nicely. Please link me to all these console war threads that are shitting up the forum. There's barely any, and it's E3.
