i just got up to chapter 12 and I must ask why does itagaki hate ninja gaiden fans? atleast the enemies don't take 4-5 full quadruple y combos to kill anymore.

chapter 2 on master ninja is brutal and cheap.

fight IS ninjas and ninpo casters, then blue ninja dogs with white ninjas with fire arrows before the goddamn save.

The super shotgun from DOOM 2 remains my favorite FPS weapon of all time.

That it is - 2nd place for this kind of fun is the olde flak cannon from unreal.

The Flak Gun is my second favorite FPS weapon too.

Doing anything later?

Sorry, it's just the whole "Action Points" and turn-based combat and invisible hexagonal grid, it's just too clunky and slow for me.

The combat is easily the low point of Fallout 1/2, though it's certainly not without merit. But everything else about those games is just so good that it outweighs whatever problems the combat has.
