Does Titan Quest have an active online community?

I know it obviously won't be as active as D2, but I'm sick to death of that game.  Do any people play TQ online or is it generally barren?

There are a bunch of servers last time I went on but the problem is, finding someone who's at your level.

and finding people that aren't hacking like crazy

If you really must play your loot and level game online with strangers, play diablo 2.
