It's not very hard to be better than 2001 or blade Runner all you need is a story.

Lawrence of Arabia is a masterpiece but its extremely long and drags alot. I have never seen Godfather II.

I've never seen it. There's a nice theater downtown that shows many classic films; I'm waiting for them to stop showing stuff like 2001 and instead show something like LoA

This is true. I've only seen the movie once and it was on an ancient 27" TV from a VHS tape. $:-\$

Nibelungen is really the only opera music I appreciate. I'd love to see it, but watching 4 operas is such a commitment. Die Walkure is such a musical build-up--it really is the best part. I've watched clips of performances, and it's usually pretty fuckin' awesome. It's dramatic, it's emo, the bitches have to have pipes, and it's got some great imagery that seems to translate into some awesome sets.

It also has a fucking awesome strings bit, too.

I saw two kids in the theater for TDK. Hell, before the movie started a guy who worked there got a microphone and asked people where they went to school (by raising hands). Just about everyone in the audience raised their hand for one college or another. I didn't see many middle aged people in there

Wall-E was the best movies I've seen in years. TDK was just a really well made movie. I've almost entirely forgot about TDK since I saw it last night. Wall-E however, lingered on my mind for days and I saw it twice in the same weekend. Wall-E gives me goosebumps. TDK made me fall asleep at times.
