Modern homosexuals compose of an afro'd black man, Satan, an ancient Greek hero, Peter Pan, and some shirtless dude wearing a chicken hat.

They may as well close the Eisner Nominations this year.  I think we have a lock across all categories

Are people aware of the connotations that being a "good ol' boy" have? Here's a short list: ignorant, uncultured, uneducated, etc.

Knowing this, would they not want to dissociate themselves with these stereotypes? Unless "good ol' boys" are in fact ignorant and uneducated, in which case the stereotype is almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I was about to make that exact comment. Since when do modern liberals count as good ol' boys?

I think that he's using good ol' boy as a pejorative comment against the entrenched powers that be?  Maybe trying to imply an "old boys network" which is more in line with that sort of rhetoric.

Whoops. I just noticed that the comic refers to the "good ol' boys" as liberals. My bad for not reading the comic, I was commenting more on Larry the Cable Guy tendencies.
