What are some essential programs that I should download? I already have VM Fusion, Unarchiver, Visualhub, but I'm not sure what else I should grab.

Vista is one of the worst, most bloated operating systems I have ever used. What clunky piece of shit. Go for XP if you're going to use Boot Camp. I used a 10 GB partition for it (to play PSO mostly), and it's been more than enough.

Download Caffeine, BrandNew. Very useful for those long YouTube sessions.

Haha yeah, the first thing I did when I got my MacBook was to get Windows XP over Vista. I find that I barely use Boot Camp much anyway...currently have 40gb allotted to it and am thinking about deleting it and starting over with 10-15gb instead.

I love 64bit Vista. The interface is lovely and internet speed is way faster than XP. If not for gaming compatibility, I wouldn't even keep XP around.

adium's got more options. Though iChat will be integrated better.

Is there a good torrent client for OSX? I've been using Azureus Vuze for a week and the moments I've spent with it have been worse than the year I spent with Vista on a machine with 1 gig of RAM. Please tell me there's something of uTorrent quality out there for macfags.
