This is not what I've heard!
I forgot to mention that what they did with me is if the teeth are partway out or something. If they really need to pull it out, they knock you out and so obviously the anesthesia will make you feel like crap in addition to how your gums feel after they cut you up.
but they give you decent drugs even if it's the quick type.
All four of mine are entirely in There's only one that doesn't have an issue (that was mentioned today). I'm guessing that one gets to get cut out just in case, since my luck has been so bad so far.
He seemed like a cool dentist in general. I explained how I went like 7 years without seeing a dentist due to no/inadequate insurance, and then I tried to get things going again last year, but I ran into insurance issue in spite of having very acceptable dental insurance. He says he's heard that same story a ton of times, and situations of severity similar to this aren't all that rare for people in their 20s. I also got him to rant on how cosmetic dentistry's rise to power in the 80s and 90s totally fucked over everyone as far as insurance goes.
He was also much,
much better than any dentist I've had in regards to clearly explaining what he was going to do. I was really impressed by that. I was looking for an emergency dentist, but I might stick with this dude.
Also I need a root canal. That's no shock.
