i love freestyle and am happy to see the rest of the world catch up to nyc in the 80s

i think that AVH had a lot to do with the current resurgence

Freestyle never really went away in NYC/LI, thanks probably to guidos. KTU and Party 105 and a couple other 'dance' stations play a lot of freestyle even to this day.
