Fucking xbox live BS

My moms credit card expired and she got a new one, same number just a different expiratory date, but xbox live won't let me either update the old one or add the new one.  This shouldn't be this hard Microsoft.

Does anyone know how I change this?

You have to go through the xbox.com website to do it. I tried doing it from the dashboard, and it just looped me back to the first page.

you can use one of those virtual credit card sites for both psn and xbl.

No, I have the little pamphlet to fill out sitting on my desk.  I just didn't qualify for the one I wanted until I had been working 6 months and had made a certain amount.

And my mom's credit card is still my primary LIVE signup thingy since I got it when I was 15 or 16 and didn't know it was a bad idea to resub using credit. I'm paid through 2010 using discounted cards so I'm not worried about it yet.

Don't use your (or your mom's) CC info on XBL.  They will just autobill you forever for the max going rate.

Take your mom's card to a store and buy XBL there.  You usually can get 13 months and if you're patient you can find a sale.  Either way, at least you don't have to remember to cancel and they won't REMIND YOU YOU DIDN'T CANCEL WITH A $50 CHARGE.
