New ThunderForce VI screens remind me of ThunderForce V

Hmmmmm......Ill still buy it - and I need to see it in motion - but is anyone else underwhelmed? I was hoping for something that looked like it could tackle with Gradius V.

And I like thunderForce V - but its no 16 bit era TF games

there was some footage linked on gaf -- looks a lot better in motion. don't know about the live guitar music, though...granted that thunderforce music has long been an impersonation of metal, but actual metal is another thing

Yeah I didnt like that bit about TF5 either (CD technology bringing cock rock to game soundtracks) - but the gameplay still kicked enough ass even tho it wasnt as good as TF 1-4 by a long shot..
