SF4! And Virtua Fighter 5 R is out now, too.

Saw VF5 R tonight when I went to play more SF4.  But no one was using Jean or Taka, so I didn't bother watching.  No point in playing, either.  It's same group of guys with wins in the THOUSANDS.

Got my ass kicked in SF4.  These guys are already too damn good...one dude already had a pimped-out Ryu with a custom outfit (shirtless) and bruise marks.  I felt lucky I won a round, LOL.  The Ryu player had some punishing tactics using the new revenge system: Get up close, hit a revenge attack, combo into fireball, dp, or super- BANG U R DEAD.

I really want to play SF4 already.  My friend who keeps telling me how awesome it is doesn't help.

VF5R is not something I'm that excited about since it doesn't seem like a big change from VF5.  I really should be looking forward to picking up SC4 later today, but I just want to play SF4.

No, it's a home-only release.  This is how SC3 started out, and it was a pretty fucked up game.  But I assume they learned from SC3 and also this time, the game can be patched...

I know I'm going to like SF4 more than SC4, no question...but they really are two different animals.

VF5 R did get some changes.  Characters can now block in all directions, which changes things up, for instance.  But it IS an update.

I really hope they take the game seriously and patch it if it needs. I'm pretty pessimistic though. Hopefully the single player AI isn't as cheese as SC3 too.
