I had never heard "fauxhawk" until approximately a week and a half ago. Now I've heard/read it three times.

Is this a relatively new term?

Aren't they supposed to be like gamerpics in as much that they're just icons that appear next to your gametag? And you can still use a gamerpic instead if you want? Yeah, I don't like the sway in direction towards soccer moms, either, but this seems pretty negligible.
