Ha, that's my problem. I didn't go to the dentist for a few years and then when I did go last year I had a bunch of cavities. They filled like 4-6 before telling me that my insurance wouldn't cover the rest, and I'd have to wait for the next year. I think I'm probably going to need a couple root canals and a few more fillings this year also

I don't mind getting work done, though. I had extensive oral surgery when I was younger, so I'm used to it. I just hate sitting there with my mouth open for so long. Actually, I should probably be scared shitless of the dentist. When I saw a specialist dentist in San Francisco to pull out three of my teeth in preparation for a tumor extraction the quack somehow damaged a nerve in my tongue that left me in agony, spitting out blood regularly for like 2 months. I don't know the specifics because I was so young at the time, but I remember that the hotel we stayed at overnight gave us a bunch of white towels to staunch the blood flow the day after the procedure, and the morning after they were all dyed pink
