Strange things have gone from exclusively being with Sony, to multiplatform, to exclusively NOT being with Sony.

Are you trying to become the Xbot iteration of JustinP? And this isn't news either. Massive failure.

Bethesda: "How does I work memstick?"

Though, in their defense, Sony probebly jipped them and gave them the devkits and PS3s that aren't equipped with pro duo slots.

I'm trying to understand how anyone can consider it a good thing that a company is already touting DLC, which will undoubtedly cost money, for an unreleased game as a good thing. Exclusive or not, it's not a good trend. Extra content on disc at regular retail price, sure. This, however, is pretty crap.

Horse Armor

Bethesda are pioneering the "Nickel and Dimeing" on the software end. It is hilarious to see a bunch of people applaud getting DLC. DLC should be contained to something like Shivering Isle, not fucking skin changes for your horse.

The fact that Bethesda is all about the 360 makes my excitement level for Fallout 3 go way down.  I'm sure they enjoy dumbing down games so that console kiddies can play it without any problems.  I'm probably going to have to wait a week or a month until mods fix that tarded down game.

I think lots of PC games have already started planning their expansion packs before their original product ships.  I'd like to think that Bethesda learned their lesson with the horse armor shit.

Get used to it. Consoles are where the money are, so don't expect companies to spend the extra resources to make the PC version shine.

I agree with Duck though, announcing DLC before knowing if the consumer will even want it is distinguished mentally-challenged.

I doubt most people will get the GTA4 DLC.

American companies.  Europe has proven that they want to make GOOD games and not just profitable games.

Honest question:  By having consoles versions, isn't the PC version improved?  Since there's more copies sold, there's more money for artists, audio, engineers, designers, etc, whose work is spread across all platforms?  I understand that the interface may be flawed, but otherwise, isn't presentation improved b/c of the addition resources?

People bitch about Invisible War.  Would a sequel have even been possible w/o the XBOX version?  These aren't rhetorical questions.  I'm genuinely curious.

No.  I mean, you will need other groups doing the console versions anyway, so that take up cost and resources.  Creative freedom is held back to get it to work on a controller and the average console gamer attention span.  If anything is improved, it would be the production values shared between (music, menu graphics, movies).  If you compare Morrowind which was built for PC and had a lazy port to the Xbox to Oblivion, which was made with consoles in mind, it is just ridiculous how much was dumbed down between them.  Fallout 3 now being designed for the Xbox 360 (from what it seems) just has me worried about how the overall quality will be.

I think Bioshock handled the situation of a console and PC game fairly well, but they are different types of games.

it's exclusivity was announced at e3, you dolt.  obvious moneyhats, as the reasons given here don't even make sense :lol.  they mention that they "are more familiar with the Xbox because we are familiar"...  and it's easier to do tech demonstrations at shows because you can put the game on a hdd and move the hdd around...  even though you can do that with a ps3 (though i guess it takes a little more time), or as jstevenson pointed out,

"Actually, it's even easier, my Resistance 2 demo and Q4B demo is on a memory stick (to be fair though, if you're not running in memory, you may need to have a devkit there, which can involve some shipping fun... and PS3 devkits are not small)"

but who am i to hinder your mad ps3 trolling.
