I worked 8 to 1:30 and enjoyed every minute of it. Working retail during tax free weekend is amazing when nothing in your department is tax free!

I get to spend Saturdays at my second programming job but they have low expectations and I have no supervision so it's not taxing at all.

I only worked without supervision at one job, several years ago, and coincidentally it was also mainly on Saturdays and it was awesome.

Saturdays are sadly our busiest day. BUT I get sunday off this week, and plan on celebrating by getting fist-fuck hammered on Corona after 6.

I had a job up until last November where I had to work every other weekend, though. And it sucked. The only good thing about it was, like the rest of yall are pointing out, there wasn't as much management to deal with in comparison to the regular week. Still... hated it.

just got back from a shift that started at seven in the fuckass morning. slow day, but i'm tired and have a shitty headache. i'm going to a party tonight, but i'll probably be to tired to enjoy myself. FUCK WORKING ON WEEKENDS

AAAAAARGHAZXK! Well, so much for that. I got called back to work because a hot water tank is on the fritz. Damn good thing I didn't start drinking right at 6 like I had planned. I have to wait another 20 minutes to see if my repair worked. Fist-fuck hammered has been postponed until 9:30 at the earliest.
