Can anyone that is not a a sonytard recommend Siren?

It seems to be getting mixed word of mouth, but the reviews appear decently solid.  I dig horror shit, but at the same time, I am not sure I want to play a game where they made the controls bad in order to make the game moodier.

The fact that it's a tongue-in-cheek take on the first game as a faceless Hollywood studio would have filmed it has me pretty interested.  I hear the black character dies 10 minutes in, and offscreen at that.  Plus there's the fact that I thought the first game was pretty intriguing aside from the awful stealth sections and poor AI and technical problems, and this is said to fix all of those.

I highly recommend the demo.

It tempted me enough to pay $14 for the first 4 episodes.
