Wow, an Asobi Seksu song in a trailer

I'll probably catch it on DVD, it looks entirely ridiculous however. at least they show people speaking Japanese in the trailer so it's not the normal Magical Tokyo where everyone is fluent in English

wtf, apparently it IS a remake of Tampopo?

if you're going to remake Tampopo with Americans, why not make it about hamburgers or something

Really? Nothing in the trailer resembles Tampopo at all. I guess it's a 'reimagining'

i was going to comment that it looked like reverse tampopo but didn't want to get into the fact that it's just one aspect of tampopo
