Yeah, they'd better make both the 360 and the Wii versions budget-priced in the US. And not $40 budget-priced, either.
The PS2 Oneechanbaras feel like the core of a really good action game paired with content that took a week to cook up, total. They spent all the effort on making the character look cool and feel pretty fun to play, but the rest of the game just doesn't have anything to appeal. So you spend all your time doing cool-looking, blood-splattering moves on zombies that just stand there (and take hits) like tree trunks, ad infinitum.
I have a thing for the Simple 1500/2000 games, too, and I played a bunch of them. But I think I enjoyed Zombie vs. Ambulance and definitely the Pikmin clones (Genshijin and Nekomura) more than Oneechanbara.
