I had a migraine most of the day, so I took a bunch of drugs and sat in the dark waiting for it to go away. This afternoon, I got an awesome birthday present in the mail from a friend in Japan who I haven't seen in probably ten years. I recently got in touch with him again, and he must have remembered my birthday was coming, because I got some awesome stuff.

That 4-CD Gundam OST is like $100 alone, and the shipping couldn't have been cheap. He's got family involved with the Yakuza, though, so I'm sure he didn't pay much for this stuff, if anything.

I'm warning you now that Gurren Lagann DS is awful.

I know it's awful, but it was a present, so there's no reason to bummed about it. It came with the bonus DVD, too.

I am also a fan of Gundam games, but this is on a whole other level from those.  Those usually have broken gameplay inside the mech.  This shit is just, I really can't think of a proper way to describe it.  It is horrible.
