Ugh, hated those back to school commercials when I was in grade school.  It was like the summer was over, even if there were still a few weeks left.  DAMN YOU TRAPPERKEEPER, YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!   

Now I love back to school.  Kids = Gone.

honestly...i kinda want to go back and get shit done. all i've done during the summer is sleep, read, watch movies, play wow, etc. At least life with have some meaning during the semester...plus i'll be living on campus. i've been with my parents for the entire summer which sucks. ie "turn computers/tv off at 11pm lolz" smh 

once i get back to my place (and get my comp fixed) i'm gonna stay up all night

I have three younger brothers, so any house rules my parents have are usually aimed at everyone, carpet bomb style. So while I can basically watch whatever movie I want for instance, if I'm at their house I can't just turn on say Pulp Fiction because my brothers will want to watch it; of course I let my brothers watch a ton of shit (what's the point of being a kid if you don't see some crazy shit every now and then), just not when my parents are home smh.

11PM: everything is supposed to come off, but of course we break that rule every night. One of my brothers is a bit behind in school so my parents are constantly putting emphasis on school, basically punishing everyone. I haven't had cable since December

senior (changed my major awhile ago so I won't be done this year). I live on campus during school semesters, and would have been there through the summer but the place is being remodeled.

I'm getting a job asap, but openings are slim. I might have to work at a fast food place sigh, or Wal Mart

You should have at least one year off-campus.  Also, there's nothing wrong with a retail job when you're in school.  You might also be able to wrangle some school-related work.  I ran a couple of campus computer labs before I started doing graphic design work halfway through my 3rd year f/e.

So you changed majors as well? I graduated from HS with an associates degree as well, and entered college as a junior. But now that I'm here...eh. I'm doing accounting right now but might change if I find something interesting. At least accounting is a good paying profession. I want to get my MBA eventually

Yeah...once I graduate I think I'm gonna take a year or two off before going to my Masters.  Especially after hearing the trouble Ketastrophe is having getting a job even though he's busted his ass working towards being in his profession. 

Hey Buddy, guess who's going back to school? ME!!!

I got accepted in the Master of Arts in Applied Economics program at Western. I have an interview this week for a non-accounting related data entry job that will pick up most, if not all, of my tuition. I might not be able to start this semester, because I have to take 2 economics undergrad pre-requisites, but I'm definitely going. Hopefully 2 Master's degrees will be able to land me a job, lol
