Agreed. Heller + Bauer awesomeness is what makes that season. The problem with replaying 24 is it's set up for a cliffhanger at the end of every hour, that you find out is resolved inj the preview of the next episode, and in the next episode in about 5 minutes most of the time. When you rewatch ANY of the shit, you realize how artificial almost of those cliffhangers are.
By season six, you get tired of the plitics of it all. "Jack you can't do this .. white house/protocols/this or this prevents you from it!" Then because of the completely arbitrary protocol, catching the bad guy is fucked up, and Jack's instincts are ALWAYS right. At this point, CTU is so incompetant that it should have disband after about a total of three total episodes with all the moles, infiltrations, and incompetance. You get sick of it.
You get sick of Chloe saying "Jack, I can't do it, so and so director put a block on doing ANYTHING.", then Jack says "Chloe I need this!", and Chloe says "Okay Jack I'll do it."

Yea. The show is very repetitive but gets away with it due to featuring such an awesome central character; I mean the man robbed a fucking gas station!
Each season boils down to:
1. Jack attempts to deal with Situation A with Solution A
2. CTU demands he deal with Situation A with Solution B
3. Jack works outside CTU demands, solves Situation A with Solution A
*repeat*
1. Jack attempts to deal with Situation B with Solution B
2. Inside mole is discovered, compromises Situation B
3. Jack realizes compromise, now attempts to solve Situation B with Solution C
4. CTU demands he deal with Situation B with Solution B
*repeat*
You guys have seen all the seasons - what changes would you like to see? Assuming the 24 hour limitation is kept (not taking the tv movie into account)what type of situations would you like to see considered
