Skipping the whole thing, not for faux political reasons, just not interested anymore.  Some of my co-workers mentioned they weren't watching the Olympics due to China's human rights record.  Might as well just not buy anything ever if that's the case, 'cause everything is made there.

It's amazing, I don't think anything benefits more than fireworks from HD.  I can't stand watching them in SD, but in HD I can't take my eyes away.

I was about half way up the upperdeck right about where the grass meets the dirt behind 1st base.

Here in Seattle, we get the Canadian CBC station from Vancouver. It was being aired live this morning in SD, but we're now watching NBC's HD coverage.

IF the criteria for olympics hosting is mere econ/military supremacy, then CHina deserves this hosting.

if the olympics is supposed to symbolize brotherhood, and peace through friendly competition, then china doesnt deserve this.
