I dunno, putting together the lightsaber was a hastle I thought. Black Isle/Obsidian are really good at crafting story but the mechanics that go along with it need to be created by someone else. ie. Infinity Engine and the DnD ruleset.

Yeah, that's the guys.

The problem was that they had to turn around a really complex game in a pretty short amount of time. That's why some stuff that seems half finished (HK manufacturing plant sidequest, some rooms in the last stage that you can see on the map but can't access) and are mentioned can't be accessed. The game was a total rush job and was as good as it was because of who was working on it.

Still, Mass Effect am make me horny.

the motorstorm demo that comes with the ps3 LAUNCH looks AMAZING.

available at the system's launch, it eclipses anything on the 360, on a technical level -- including gears of war.

I'm still pissed as hell that they decided to do yet another Rainbow Six-like third person shooter with a sci-fi atmosphere instead of a true RPG with a fighting system akin to KOTOR's or Jade Empire's. It's like a big slap on the face of all their hardcore fans.

And without either the Star Wars or AD&D license to back them up, I'm not exactly sure that this'll be commercially successful.

Still it's definitely going to spend a lot of time spinning in my 360 next year nonetheless. That framerate is indeed pretty embarassing though.
