My wife bought me a Gundam Hazel MSIA figure and stuck it on top of the birthday cake last night. It was pretty funny. My friends are not into anime in the slightest, so they had a good laugh at my expense. 
Your wife sounds so awesome. Does she like Gundam?
Nope. She doesn't like giant robots, anime, rpgs, etc. She thinks it's all odd, but she's a Broadway musical freak, so she can't give me too much shit.
She is pretty obsessed with Settlers of Catan (boardgame), though.
