I wanna play Madden but it's gotta way too complicated. NBA2K on consoles and Winning Eleven PSP are the only sports sims that I play now.

I haven't purchased Madden in years. I was a big fan of last year's All-Pro Football, which was lean on features, but just fun.

Madden is too fucking complicated nowadays. Fuck this noise. I am trading in my copy tomorrow.

Try the demo. It is less complicated than it was. They basically test you on what you are good, or what you suck at, then adjust the game accordingly. The bit of actual gameplay you try in the demo was a lot of fun for me, and the last 5 or so bored me.

every time i play one of these games or nba live or something at my cousin's place i always get slaughtered. I don't know wtf I'm doing. I'm just picking random plays and hoping it all works out.

Then, when I play games like NBA Street or NBA Jam, or SSX, I kick all ass.

I feel the same way generally but I think EA did a lot to simplify (or at least de-retardedize, henceforth 'de-obfuscate') the controls and teach people how to play with 09. The adaptive difficulty is neat too.

When they added the Cone Vision shit, thats when things got fucked up. You have to not only press one set of buttons to have your QB focus on the player, you also have to press the button again to pass it to them. You can turn it off but that shit is totally like wtf.

Just got the Wii version, played a game of regular and a game of 5v5. I'm not a big football fan, but I'm having a lot of fun with all the Wii controls/Call Your Shot.

Yeah, Wii version looks surprisingly not shit. It seems like they figured out how to handle games on the Wii. Very plain and clean graphics, make everything simple. All that kind of shit.

This game isn't simple at all! I was played like a chump. I can't even tell which is a passing play and which is a running play. This shit is too complicated.
