I just got back from hiking the Northorn loop (33 miles) around Mt. Rainier. man this place is amazing. I could really see my self living in Seattle and enjoying this beautiful countryside. Anyway, I'm just gonna post a few pictures to give you an idea of this majestic place.

Here is what a glacier looks like. Funny thing about this one. It's only retreated .6 miles since the last Ice Age (global warming amirite)

I did a 5 mile trail around the base of Mt Rainier and by the end I thought I was gonna die. Now at least I'm in much better shape and would be able to get through it without much of a problem. The whole of the Pacific Northwest area is beautiful, love the picturesque mountain vistas and the pine trees.

I did the Wonderland Trail around Mt. Rainier back in junior high, it was a blast. Took six days to do the whole thing with my grandpa and aunt.

My friends and I have been doing Saturday hikes every other weekend all summer. We're doing Denny Creek this Saturday. We call ourselves the Delridge Backpacking And Geological Society, or D.B.A.G.S.
