They really need to put the SNES version of Turtles in Time with perfect arcade graphics and sound on the XBLA and PSN.

TMNT 1989 is great, but Turtles in Time is off-tha-chartz awesome.

I think I'm the only person on the planet who thinks that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 on the NES is the best TMNT game.

Why would you want the SNES version over the arcade version?

The SNES version had an extra level, a boss in the Sewer Surfin' level, and a cooler version of Neon Night-Riders.

Actually, I would love the option to mix-and-match arcade and SNES graphics and sound. That would be rad.

I have TMNT for XBLA, if you guys wanna play 4 player sometime. I'm really shocked that Konami and EA haven't inked out a deal to get The Simpsons arcade game on XBLA... I was almost convinced it would've gone up on the service the same time as the movie release last summer.

TMNT, Simpsons, and X-Men arcade games rocked my elementary school socks off.

I still remember when my friend had a birthday party at an arcade and every machine could be played for free, so we played through the entire X-men game right then and there.  I was always Nightcrawler.

I didn't know the Turtles Arcade game is on Live. I need to go buy a Microsoft Point card. Apparently it isn't a good idea to put your credit card info into your Xbox, haha.

Raphael is cool (if not a bit crude), but his weapons suck.

I don't know why you would use him willingly.

I think donatello had the longest reach in Turtles in Time but I'm not sure.  I always liked Leo though.  He's like a balance between the emoness of Raph, the stupidness of Michael, and the nerdiness of Donatello.  Plus he had swords.
X-Men: Wolverine
If you're talking about the SNES version, I remeber Wolverine being my favorite character for most of the game but Beast was way overpowered and he was the only way that I could beat most of the bosses of the second half.

Because Raphael has the rolling/sliding kick move, its like the best in the game. It allows you to defeat bosses with the least resistance.

I had forgotten how bad I suck at Turtles arcade game, but it is still great fun. I'm pretty good at Turtles in Time though, I wonder why that is.

I remember beating it with some random kid at Chuck E Cheese (when they were still around) when I was kid. I was basically carrying the kid the entire time kicking all the bad guys asses and his parents kept giving him tokens. Eventually I ran out and his parents gave me some to finish the game. They probably spent like $20 so their kid could get through the game.

Oh and whoever says TMNT 1 sucks and can't get through the damn level - you're weaksauce dude.  :-\

Am I the only one who remembers "Showbiz Pizza"?  They were Chuck E Cheese before Chuck E Cheese was.  Or maybe they were owned by the same company?  I dunno.  It had all the same shit though.  Robot bears playing music and shit, tons of arcade games, and a playground complete with ball-pit.

I think I went to it in Chicago back in the mid-eighties.  Now its all Chuck, but back then it was Showbiz.

Back on Long Island, there was a place that went by "The Emporium."  The Chuck E. Cheese.  Then The Emporium again.  Then Chuck E. Cheese AGAIN I think.  Then it became a Nathan's Hot Dogs (WTF??) right when we moved away.  It was always the same place inside, with the same dumb animatronics too.  And pizza.   Then Nathan's took over.  The arcade side rocked though.  Cut my teeth on SF2 there...
