Wait till you get some sponsors and a co-driver, then the money pours in. Such an awesome game.

Definitely one of the best games this year, but you do suck for a while at first.  Won't be long and you'll be whipping asses.

I was a bit concerned I wouldn't like some of the types of racing, but I love all of them.  I found the hardest to be drift, but I'm slowly getting better at it.  When you start to be able to string some drifts together on a mountainside, it feels :hyper.

I've played quite a bit, but I'm trying to save it until my plasma is back from repairs (been about 2-3 months now >:()

The AI is incredibly easy to beat. I had a race on the highest difficulty setting and passed 12 cars in half a lap. With a Nissan Skyline or a classic mustang, I win three lap races by at least ten seconds.

Yeah, especially with cars that have a lot of oversteer, like the classic mustangs.

I've gotta give GT some credit for its well implemented controls for FF wheels.  My times improved tremendously with a wheel.  Otoh, Grid plays like garbage with a wheel, with or without FF effects.

Using a wheel with Grid, there's just no way to keep from spinning out constantly.  Luckily, the PC version supports the 360 pad.  It's not quite as immersive with a pad though.

I liked Dirt a bit more.  Grid seems to have been downgraded in visuals and gameplay for dummy consoles.

I honestly don't see why I didn't like GRID.  So many aspects seem like they would appeal to me, but when I actually sad down and played it, I didn't enjoy like I did with any other major racing games (PGR, Forza, GT, etc).

The handling is too arcadey.  Dirt had a much better balance between realism and fun.
