Such an excellent movie.

If you haven't seen it already you MUST go out to the store and pick it up. You can find it for $5.99 or so.

A true AAA+++ movie.

I'm ashamed to say I don't have it on DVD yet.  It's long overdue.

Yeah, I've never seen it, but it's in my DVD pile to watch soon.

Really, I've been cinematically deprived. Over the past weeks, I saw the Terminator, Matrix and Alien movies all for the first time.

I went to the cinema two times at the time to see it. It's one of my favourite movies ever.
It hasnt aged that well though, i thought, when it was on tv a few weeks ago around here.

And i cannot believe somebody really liked the C64 game. That was one of the worst turds of a game in the history of that machine.  :maf
I cannot remember ever being more disappointed after purchasing a game than i have been with this one. And as a 12 year old boy i didnt have much money.  :'(

Just watched it for the first time.  It has some funny parts but it's still a 5/10.  Fail.

It's not about China. It's about "Little China." So it's about AMERICA, and the struggling-with-our-own-ethnic-identity hero in all of us.

And Kim Catrall when she was still utterly hot.

Yeah, it's more evidence to me that John Carpenter is a sadly unappreciated director who was ahead of his time.

Didn't he even precede the western "Hong Kong cinema rush" with this movie?

He also preceded the rush for crap movies too.  What a genius.

This thread reminds me that I haven't seen bagofeyes around lately.  Last time I saw him post was like once in September.

John Carpenter has turds (like Memoirs of an Invisible Man - zing!) with more artistic credibility than you, Father Mike!

Watch the Thing and if you don't like it, then you must be banned slowly, while being lepered at the same time.

I hope you and whiteman get the dvd case of Big Trouble shoved up your asses.  Then I hope you both get placed in giant microwave oven, only for a min or so while the dvd melts to the sides of your colons.  Then I hope that the smoothness of the melted cover causes the shit going though you to accelerate when it hits your colon, causing you to shit yourself in public everyday to much embarrassment. I also hope this causes excruciating pain in your plastic ass every time this happens.
