Fall is going to be insane. Worst day is Oct 21st since it has Fable 2, LBP, Dead Space, Far Cry 2, and Castlevania Order of E. I wish they would spread this shit out a bit better.

i was gonna get infinite undiscovery on release day (or the closest day i could get to the store) but then i found out about rico and ruccha, the twins. after dealing with the twins from ff4, then even worse the kids from lost odyssey, i'm not so sure about this. they might be annoying enough to ruin the game.

Does anyone use Gamefly? how reliable is the service? do you normally get the game in the mail the day it comes out? I am trying to find another way to lessen the wallet rape I suffer every year, and games like Mercenaries 2 don't seem like they are worth keeping for the long term.

King's Bounty: The Legend ( going to compete with Sins for strategy goty)
Hinterland (city-builder rougelike from Tilted Mill)
NWN2 Zehir Expansion

Warhammer is going to be an insane timesink so I'm not getting hyped up about too many other games this year. However, the other ones I did list hit the genres I dearly love and just can't be ignored. I do wish there was an A-grade naval or air sim coming out this fall, I generally like one of those a year and nothing this year has really scratched that itch.

May very well be the first time I buy a 360 game full price at launch. Still don't have Lego Indy and both it and Batman will get cheaper eventually so I think the bat is going to be on hold. Wario is going to be $50 for all eterntiy because Nintendo are dicks so that is in the running but I think Force Unleashed is what is going to get my monies.

my pc is dick for newer games, AMD 64x2 3800+, GeForce 7600s - that LOST game ran like shit on it even with the settings turned down

although i do have 3 gigs of ram, thanx to prof prole

That's a decent rig. You can run most games at fairly high settings if you get a 8800GT. You can probably find one for $100 now.

I love Gamefly. So far the service has been great. The only down side is the long delay between returns, but I live in bumfuck Georgia so that could explain it. It takes about 3 days to get new games. And you get them reliably as long as you don't have any games rented out and have the new game you want at the top of your queue.

I pretty much used to consider myself lucky in that the only store that I used to have for games up north was a Wal-Mart, but they built and opened a Gamestop in the span of a week this past week up here now, so I have lots of games to catch up on, and now can get all those inane jap games that people rave about now.
